Hello! Thanks for visiting K.A. Publications.
My name is Kabajha Harris (Ka-bye-ya Hair-ris). I'm a self-published author with a passion for writing and ministry. The desire to make a generous contribution to society has led to the publication of my first book, The Joyful Surprise of the Unexpected (2019©).
That being said, I believe that God has called me for such a time as this, to encourage mental stability, emotional control, and spiritual liberty. I've found that it's so much easier to write a book, upload it to various platforms, and leave it there to be read. However, it takes courage and an enormous amount of empathy for others, to open up and allow myself to be vulnerable beyond the original works.
So, why do I do it? It's pretty simple, actually. People are hurting and I know how it feels to be in a state of great suffering. Nevertheless, I also know how it feels to be free from this type of pain.
Oft times, we look to lay blame on others for our conditions, and in most cases, rightfully so. Still, once we accept that the God within us is greater than he that is in all of the world, the focus is then, how do I stop hurting myself? Unfortunately, I can't answer that question for you, but I'd like to point out the fact that most of our unrest comes from within.
Be that as it may, regardless of the constant inner and outer chaos, we must understand that we have the innate ability to rise above anything! In other words, becoming mentally stable, emotionally in control, and at peace spiritually, happens when we take the initiative to nurse our own self-inflicted wounds. I'm not saying it's easy, but from experience, I'm telling you it's possible. I know it to be true because I've done the work, and as a result, I wake up every morning looking forward to experiencing the only heaven I'll ever know in this realm of existence - peace of mind. I've also accepted the fact that in spite of my flaws, GOD is forever present.
Bottom line, I've learned to take care of myself first, trusting that God is taking care of the rest. I believe that we can only do what's within our power to do. Everything else will work out according to GOD's will. I further believe that finding peace is a virtue, and every human being should be free to just be! So, I've put my pride aside, and humbly submit to doing this work willingly as a witness to how wonderful it is to see myself through the eyes of GOD, with the hope that others will someday be able to see what GOD sees in them also!
The Bible tells us in Ecclesiastes 3:1 - to everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven; 3:8 - a time of war and a time of peace. In other words, there is peace on the other side of your pain. I'm a witness!
To everyone reading this, I pray that the peace of GOD which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and mind in Jesus's name, Amen.
